India’s smartphone shipments declined 2% YoY to reach over 52 million units in Q3 2021, the market behaving on expected lines as Brands Prepare for Festive Season. can be attributed to higher pent-up demand last year due to COVID-19. The smartphone market continues to show signs of resiliency and the quarterly numbers would have been even higher if not for the component shortages that escalated during the quarter.

To summarise, the Indian Smartphone Market will grow by 11% in 2021 and will further grow by 18% in 2022.
