Overview:
India’s smartphone shipments grew 1% YoY in February 2022 due to increasing demand post the third COVID wave in January. Also, the market witnessed increased number of new product launches.
Smartphone production output in Feb 2022 maintained a similar trend as January 2022. Supply issues are still affecting some of the top brands. We believe the production level will grow in the next financial year, starting in April.
