Overview:
Global tablet shipments for the year 2023 declined 13% YoY, hurt by the delayed economic recovery in H1 2023, the negative repercussions from the macroeconomic uncertainty, and weakened consumer sentiment. The underperformance in tablet shipments was also further exacerbated by the intentional absence of model refreshes from leading tablet OEMs such as Apple and Samsung, having anticipated a waning demand for tablets for 2023.
