Apple's Vision Pro virtual reality headset will land in select Asian markets later this month, starting with China, Japan and Singapore, under plans announced Monday.
At the keynote event to kick off the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference, CEO Tim Cook said the highly anticipated device will finally come to Asia.
Customers in mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore will be able to start preordering the Vision Pro on June 13 at 6 p.m. Pacific time. Shipments will begin on June 28.
Preorders in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the U.K. will begin on June 28, with shipments to start on July 12.
The Vision Pro was announced in mid-2023 and began shipping in the U.S. earlier this year. Its base price is a hefty $3,499.
