CXMT is starting to make inroads in the global memory market, which is dominated by the South Korean companies Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, plus Micron Technology of the United States. CXMT held 8 percent of the global market share in the first quarter of 2026, up from 3 percent a year earlier, according to Counterpoint Research.
“It’s going to be a steep hill to climb for CXMT in the high-bandwidth memory market,” said Neil Shah, vice president of research for Counterpoint Research.
