NVIDIA has announced its sovereign AI initiative in Europe at GTC25 in Paris while urging European countries to develop their own AI ecosystems with European models, data as well as hardware. This was reinforced by President Macron at the event.

NVIDIA plans numerous infrastructure investments across Europe, including building more than 200 AI data centers and Giga factories with partners across the continent. At the heart of this initiative is NVIDIA’s GB200 NVL72 rackscale system, which is now being delivered at a rate of 1,000 units per week by NVIDIA’s OEM partners.
