Amdocs, Valid Top Performers in Consumer eSIM Orchestration CORE Rankings 2026

Amdocs and Valid emerged ‘Pacesetters’ in the 2026 Global eSIM Orchestration CORE (Competitive, Ranking and Evaluation), according to Counterpoint’s latest Global eSIM Orchestration Landscape Report

Consumer eSIM adoption is accelerating across smartphones, wearables, travel connectivity, and enterprise deployments. As a result, orchestration platforms are becoming central to enabling seamless lifecycle management, entitlement integration, automation, and customer experience delivery. Counterpoint Research’s latest Consumer eSIM Orchestration Rankings highlight how the market is evolving beyond provisioning-centric architectures toward unified orchestration platforms capable of managing the complete eSIM lifecycle across devices, channels, and ecosystems.

Commenting on this, Senior Analyst Siddhant Cally said, “Consumer eSIM orchestration is moving from an adjacent provisioning capability to a core layer within the broader eSIM ecosystem. Vendors are expanding orchestration capabilities, deepening entitlement integration, and building more comprehensive lifecycle management frameworks in response to the growing importance of orchestration in managing increasingly complex device ecosystems and OEM-driven connectivity journeys. AI is also gaining ground across the ecosystem powering chatbot support, predictive capabilities, diagnostics, and security-focused workflows.” 

Cally added, “Orchestration is becoming a key strategic layer for operators: the ability to deliver scalable, seamless, and automated customer journeys across devices and channels will define both the next phase of competition and how operators monetize connectivity and digital services.” 

Commenting on the pacesetters, Principal Analyst Varun Gupta said, “Strong capabilities across automation, analytics, OSS/BSS integration, entitlement frameworks, and multi-channel enablement continue to differentiate the leading orchestration platforms in the market. Amdocs continued as the leading pacesetter in this year’s rankings, supported by its highly mature and workflow-driven orchestration platform capable of managing increasingly complex consumer connectivity journeys across devices and channels. Valid entered the pacesetters category for the first time this year, reflecting its strong progress in building a unified orchestration framework with growing focus on entitlement integration and operational flexibility. In addition to platform depth, both vendors continue to strengthen their market presence through growing eSIM transaction volumes, expanding operator relationships, and broader ecosystem execution across both large and small operator groups.” 

The leaders category brings together established eSIM players Thales, Idemia Secure Transactions, G+D, 10T Tech, RedTea Mobile and Tata Communications, alongside new entrants Trasna who has progressed from challengers last year and 1GLOBAL. These vendors are extending their orchestration capabilities beyond core provisioning and enablement expertise into areas such as entitlement integration, lifecycle automation, diagnostics, and customer journey management, backed by strong ecosystem partnerships, OEM relationships, and growing global deployments. 

The challengers category brings together SaaS-led and orchestration-focused players Mobilise, LotusFlare, Invigo, triPica, and Moflix many of whom bring agile, cloud-native, and API-driven approaches to the market. These vendors offer strong platform capabilities across automation, and customer experience management, with growing focus on flexibility and operational intelligence. As their platforms mature, the next phase of growth will hinge on scaling deployments and expanding customer reach. 

Eastcompeace continues to be an upstart in the market, supported by a well-defined execution strategy and a developing roadmap built on its existing presence in eSIM enablement and provisioning. 

Kigen, 1oT, and HCLTech form part of the niche segment within the market. Their platforms provide the core orchestration capabilities required for standard eSIM deployments and are well suited for emerging players and CSPs targeting more generic or focused use cases. 

Counterpoint Research expects continued momentum in consumer eSIM orchestration, driven by rising OEM adoption, expanding travel eSIM and enterprise use cases, and growing demand for cloud-native, API-driven connectivity platforms. Vendors will need to balance foundational platform capabilities with higher-value orchestration, automation, and intelligence layers that will define the next phase of digital connectivity.
