"Samsung has launched ‘lite’ versions of its flagship and Note series in India. The Note 10 Lite features the stylus but has an older Exynos 9810 chipset. The S10 Lite includes the Snapdragon 855, a new 5MP macro camera and OIS. The devices are a mix of some new features and some borrowed from the higher priced variants.
Both the devices introduce these unique features in the segment, which is otherwise led by OnePlus in India. Samsung was lacking a strong device in this segment and OnePlus was enjoying the lack of any strong competition. As a consumer, the devices bring a new variety to choose from. After the successful A series revamp in the mid segment, this is another strategy shift from Samsung to capture the affordable premium segment, which is to remain very crucial in the emerging markets." – Varun Mishra
