"Maruti Suzuki – India's largest carmaker by sales, production, and share-has, dropped plans to double its vehicle production capacity in Gujarat, amidst a prolonged overall slowdown, with vehicle sales falling for a consecutive 8th month in the country. Most auto companies, including Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra, have already announced production cuts earlier.
