"Huawei's CEO recently said that the company’s overseas smartphone shipment plunged 40% due to the US trade sanction. Although the trade sanction is relaxed by the US allowing American companies to work with Huawei again, the recovery for Huawei will not be immediate. The growth rate in Europe for Huawei will decline and the company will have to win the trust of the consumers all over again. It is important for Huawei to gain lost share in the European market as it accounts for a significant part of the company's overseas shipments. It is also the region where most of Huawei's more expensive and higher-margin flagship smartphones are sold (outside of China)." –Shobhit Srivastava
