As per the latest research from Counterpoint’s IoT Service, India True Wireless stereo (TWS) Segment grew a 156% YoY growth in Q1 2021. boAt maintained its lead in India TWS Market in Q1 2021 as well with 28% market share. Multiple launches combined with aggressive marketing strategies led to this significant growth. OnePlus, realme, pTron and Noise were other top players this quarter. Looking forward, brands would try to capitalise on PLI scheme extension to ‘TWS’ category and would expand their ‘Make in India’ capabilities.
