Counterpoint:2018年“618”中国手机电商市场的赢家与十大特点分析

京东+天猫电商平台占据手机电商市场80%,而荣耀与小米之间的竞争更加胶着。

根据国际分析公司Counterpoint的电商渠道监测数据来看,借助于“618”电商平台的大型促销活动下,在2018年6月通过电商渠道销售的手机接近一半。然而其他月份电商平台的整体占比多在30%左右。

Counterpoint研究总监闫占孟分析道:“本次618电商活动相比去年开始早,持续时间长。此外,618期间,各类平台型电商、垂直型电商玩家均都参与其中,借以预热期、正式期和返场期等形式形成持续时间长,品类丰富和活动形式众多等特点。手机品类更是产品促销的大户,贡献了最多销售额”

下面是我们对渠道和本次618活动梳理分析的结果:

    1. 京东和天猫是本次618活动的主要赢家。它们两家的市场份额超过手机品类电商平台市场的80%。
    2. 厂商电商平台:因为618是京东的主战场,加上后来天猫平台的加入,他们的对这个月份投入的资源非常丰富,所以Apple及Xiaomi等其他厂商电商平台表现的市场份额有所下降。
    3. 线下的零售渠道已经认可电商渠道的能力和市场表现,并接受这个现实。在618期间,它们更多是回避其锋芒,等待时机或者转型。
    4. 渠道融合:此外,618期间,渠道也会在线下渠道开展活动,但是主要玩家是京东之家和苏宁易购。它们采用线上和线下同价,提供返利和返点等商业模式来营销。
    5. 世界杯的影响:618活动同期也正值世界杯大型体育赛事举办期间,我们发现世界杯虽然对618电商促销活动的流量有所有影响,但是对手机的销售结果影响不大。反而这个赛事促进了啤酒和小龙虾等食品饮料在618渠道的销量。
    6. 社交电商:从早期的蘑菇街到现在的拼多多,社交电商在618期间也表现得活力十足。此外,京东拼购也加入社交电商大军,通过社交电商模式做电商,在早期也已经过成功的验证。但是,目前对于手机等科技品类的产品还是贡献有限。后期表现如何,我们更看重手机本身的产品是否有足够竞争力和传播的形式和效率。
    7. 供应链备货:Counterpoint从供应链渠道监测,我们发现在本次618活动前,各大手机品牌为了618活动准备大量的货源和型号,少数厂商提供了为618销售型号的专用生产线。甚至有些品牌借助618大型活动来发布新的专有手机型号。
    8. 电商平台的国际化: 618当天,京东在总部召开媒体发布会,宣布京东物流国际化将全面升级。阿里的国际化物流(菜鸟)也已经布局。无论京东和阿里的国际化,都需要平台的跨境物流与后台系统的支持。通常电商平台海外拓展的方式有自建或者投资收购,例如:京东在印尼和泰国自建的物流平台和系统。两者都为手机厂商在海外渠道提供了更多的渠道方便和支持。
    9. JD VS天猫之争,模式各有特色:618期间,它们利用自身模式的差别来参与618活动。比如:京东擅长产品的服务与营销,而天猫的商铺渠道和金融服务是其特点。
    10. 多说技术,少谈降价。618另一个变化是,现在电商促销从仅仅谈优惠和打折变成说技术、谈赋能等。科技创新和提升平台的服务与价值成为了最大的亮点,而背后是电商平台战略方针的转变。

我们对品牌和型号在618期间电商渠道表现的分析:

  1. 电商渠道手机品牌传统三强:小米,荣耀,苹果占据70%多的市场份额。在618期间表现得更加集中。
  2. 小米与荣耀之间的差距越来越小,产品线路形成绝对的竞争关系。
  3. 苹果无论在618期间还是在平常销售时期,它的电商渠道已经成为品牌的主力渠道。
  4. Vivo携Z1的专有电商型号进入前六名。
  5. Lenovo 和Nokia携新品的回归是今年618的另一个亮点。此次回归是Lenovo战略调整之后的产品重新起航,而Nokia是希望把海外市场的杰出表现带到中国。
  6. 苹果借助iPhone 8在618电商渠道的折扣和性价比,进入前八名。
  7. 小米借助低端红米系列在Top10 中占有4个名额,而Xiaomi 8作为新品,优先供应电商渠道,也使得它进入Top 10。
  8. 荣耀的型号相比于其他品牌规划的更多,凭借自身的品牌和产品实力让它在top 10名额占有五席。而低端新品畅玩7C和7A是主要贡献者。
  9. 荣耀10、 iPhone X 和Xiaomi 6X进入天猫渠道前十名。
  10. 前十名畅销型号占618电商渠道整体市场近一半的份额。
