Global Smart Glasses Ecosystem & Market Trends H1 2025 Update

0
August 8, 2025
Overview:
The global smart glasses market grew by 110% YoY in H1 2025. This remarkable growth was fueled by robust demand for Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses and the entry of new players such as Xiaomi, TCLRayNeo, and several smaller brands. However, this growth momentum falls short of the industry’s earlier expectations, which had been fueled by a wave of new AI glasses launched since late 2024. Notably, most of these new AI glasses OEMs failed to meet their original shipment targets as the design and development of fully functional AI smart glasses has proven more challenging than many initially anticipated. Apart from Meta, key AI glasses OEMs that achieved shipments in H1 2025 include Xiaomi, TCL-RayNeo, Kopin Solos, and Thunderobot, with the debut of the Xiaomi AI Glasses being the most anticipated event in the industry.
