The smartphone shipments in India grew to 37.6 million units with 6% YoY growth during Q2 2019 setting a second-quarter shipment record. Samsung has shown 30% growth quarter on quarter while Xiaomi’s still leads entire Q2. Realme share reached highest ever as its Realme C2 crossed cumulative 1 million sales within 8 weeks.
Greater than $650 was the Fastest Growing Price Band in Q2 2019. The Premium Segment increase was driven by the growth of OnePlus, Samsung and Apple. OnePlus surpassed Samsung to capture pole position in the premium segment for the entire quarter. Samsung led the $250-$400 price band due to Galaxy A50.
Online Smartphone Shipments Share Remain over 40% for 1H 2019, Highest Ever. Flipkart online channel share hit 58% while Amazon share reached record 73% in Premium Segment.
