OLED panel shipments grew 4% QoQ and 4% YoY in Q4 2025, following a 12% QoQ and 4% YoY increase in Q3 2025, according to Counterpoint Research’s latest OLED Shipment Report – Flash Edition. For full-year 2025, OLED panel shipments grew 3% YoY, driven primarily by rapid expansion in OLED IT applications, including OLED monitors (+67% YoY) and OLED notebook PCs (+24% YoY), while OLED smartphones posted modest growth of 2% YoY.
Q4 2025 application trends
Smartphones: +10% QoQ, +6% YoY
TVs: +14% QoQ, –3% YoY (seasonal lift, still weak YoY)
Monitors: -1% QoQ, +87% YoY (significant YoY growth for 27”)
Notebook PCs: +13% QoQ, +5% YoY (double-digit YoY growth for 13.5” and 15.6”)
The OLED industry continued to grow modestly in 2025, with smartphones remaining the largest driver of panel demand. However, the fastest growth is now coming from IT OLED applications, particularly monitors and notebook PCs, as OEMs expand OLED into premium computing devices. This shift suggests that IT OLED will play an increasingly important role in sustaining OLED industry growth over the next several years.
Counterpoint’s long-term forecast for OLED units, revenues, area, panel supplier share, form factor, share, brand share and more will be available later this month. For more information, please contact [email protected]
