ODM Landscape Set to Change as Wingtech Added to US Sanction List
Overview: Shanghai-based Wingtech Technology Co (Wingtech) was added to the US Bureau of Industry and Security’s (BIS) latest ‘Entity List’ released in December 2024. The Entity List is a US government compilation of foreign organizations deemed as a concern to national security, subjecting them to certain export restrictions and licensing requirements. Currently, we expect Wingtech's ODM business to be significantly hurt by this sanction.
