Overview: Indias smartphone market declined 9% YoY in February 2026, with price hikes observed across multiple brands. OEMs remained cautious in their inventory management amid weakening demand during an already seasonally slow period. vivo emerged as the market leader for the month, registering single-digit YoY growth. The brand continued to strengthen its premium positioning through portfolio expansion across its X and V series. Apple maintained strong growth momentum, supported by stable pricing as it remained among the few brands without official price hikes. The introduction of the iPhone 17e aimed to bridge the portfolio gap ahead of the iPhone 17 series. Online Share remained below the 40% mark in February 2026, Samsung led the channel with 23% share during the month. It continued its focus on M and F series models on the channel and also launched the much-anticipated Galaxy S26 series.
