Overview:

In 2022, 22% of US households did not have access to fixed broadband. This number will be reduced to 2% by the end of 2027. While 71 million (55%) US households utilize VDSL/cable technology, 63 million utilize cable technology. Growth of fiber/FTTH has been slow and costly. Despite the coverage announcement, the last-mile connection has proven difficult to set up.  US mobile operators believe FWA is an opportunity to gain additional revenues with limited to zero incremental investments in many areas, some being metro and some rural.

This report provides actuals and outlook till 2027 on the 4G and 5G FWA subscribers and FWA-CPE unit sales. It also includes a forecast on the 4G and 5G FWA-CPE ASP in the US. It analyses the fixed broadband market by technology and operator's (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, WISPA, among others) performance and strategies.
