The combined entity, with projected revenues of 1.7 trillion yen (US$20 billion) and the workforce of 75,000 people, will be Japan's 3rd largest automotive supplier and include leading global OEMs customers such as Nissan, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Mazda.
With the global auto industry seeing significant transformations, automakers and suppliers are urgently aligning forces, looking to share costs and investments for scaling existing opportunities, co-developing newer technologies and thus remaining operationally relevant."- Vinay Piparsania
