As per the latest research from Counterpoint’s IoT Service, India smartband shipment grew 115 YoY growth in 2019. Though India Smartband market is growing at a robust pace, it still remains a niche segment in India. 2020 might be a turnaround year for segment as smartphone OEMs are now focusing on to leverage their brand equity in this segment. Xiaomi leading the segment grew 91 % YoY in 2019.
