India Monthly Smartphone Market Analysis 2021 March

Overview: 

The Indian smartphone shipments grew 23% YoY to reach over 38 million units in Q1 2021. These were the highest ever first-quarter shipments. New product launches, promotions and financial schemes, as well as pent-up demand coming from 2020, drove the smartphone market in Q1 2021.

Samsung recaptured the No.1 position replacing Xiaomi in March 2021 with 22% of the total India smartphone shipments share. Xiaomi slipped to 2nd position in the Indian smartphone market with a 19% market share in March 2021 but conquered the market with a 20% share in Q1 2021.
