Global tablet shipments are predicted to fall in 2022 after the two strong years fueled by increased purchases for remote work and education during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the near term, the spread of uncertainty due to the Ukraine crisis and financial pressures will be critical. The shift in consumer spending to travel and leisure in the post-pandemic world is also projected to affect the tablet industry.
