Overview:
After a brief recovery during Q4 2022, global tablet market shipments resumed their decline in Q1 2023, dropping 17% YoY and 18% QoQ. Macroeconomic challenges and financial pressures have reduced the demand for tablets amid easing COVID-19 restrictions. With the addition of weakening consumer sentiments, global tablet shipments in Q1 2023 were similar to that of pre-pandemic levels reaching similar shipments to those recorded in 2019.
