Global foldable smartphones in the Q1 2022 showed a sell-in volume of 1.54 m units, an increase of 111% compared to the previous year. In 2022, although the global total smartphone market volume is expected to be down to 1,356 m units showing a negative 2.5% YoY, the foldable smartphone market is expected to show 16.6 m units, an increase of 82.9% compared to the previous year.
