Overview:

This report tracks the global cellular AI IoT module and chipsets shipments along with their connectivity technology (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, NB-IoT, LTE-M, LPWA-Dual Mode). 4G technology can be further split into 4G Cat 1, Cat 1 Bis, Cat 4 and Cat Others. “AI Module” can be defined as a module which is supporting AI capability at the hardware level with GPU, CPU, NPU and DSP features or low-level AI support which are capable to run AI at software or through cloud-based AI algorithms. This module is mainly used for camera, video or analytics types of applications where it requires higher graphic processing, data storage, and real-time decision making. It can also easily integrate with Android-based applications. Currently, we are tracking 50+ IoT module vendors’ shipments performance across 10 chipset players,  and 18+ IoT applications quarterly starting from Q1 2019 to Q2 2022.
