Analysing The Role of AI/ML In 5G Advanced
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are already being used in 5G devices and networks. With the introduction of 5G Advanced from 2025 onwards, AL/ML will become the foundation of much innovation and will result in enhanced network capabilities and new use cases.
This Technology Report provides an overview of the role of AI/ML in the 3GPP’s upcoming 5G Advanced standard and outlines the key technologies and use cases where it will be used.
