Its latest progress includes features such as Code Interpreter and Custom Instructions, providing more personalized capability and user-friendly interfaces. Meanwhile, a sextet of LLM unicorns, namely Anthropic, Cohere, Inflection, Adept, Jasper and Character.ai, are chasing after OpenAI’s, hoping to grab a slice of the pie in the ever-growing LLM market. This report provides an in-depth comparative analysis of these unicorns by looking at important factors such as company history, notable backers, founder’s background, product technology and positioning. Our findings suggest that there is a strong correlation between the founders’ AI credentials and the startup’s unicorn status.
