Global smartwatch shipments grew 4% YoY in Q1 2026, sustaining the upward momentum gained back in Q2 2025. The growth was primarily driven by Apple’s YoY increase in shipments. HLOS (advanced) smartwatches grew 3% YoY, driven by Apple’s continuous adoption, along with recovery in the Huawei’s shipments. The basic smartwatch witnessed the fastest YoY shipments growth of 6% on Q1 2026. Xiaomi led the basic smartwatch segment’s growth with 24% shipment share.
