Panel shipments for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max began in July 2026, while panel shipments for the iPhone Duo started in August 2026. Looking ahead, panel shipments for the base iPhone 18 models are expected to begin in January 2027, consistent with Apple’s staggered launch strategy for the 2026-2027 iPhone cycle.

According to Counterpoint Research’s Monthly Premium Smartphone OLED Tracker, cumulative panel shipments for the iPhone 18 Pro series through October 2026 are tracking 2% higher than shipments for the iPhone 17 Pro series during the comparable period in 2025.
When including the iPhone Duo, the picture is stronger. Combined panel procurement for the 2026 iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo is tracking 7% higher than procurement for the iPhone 17 Pro models during the comparable 2025 period.
