This rapid growth was fueled by the launch of the iPhone 16 series at the end of Q3 2024, Apple’s first fully GenAI-capable smartphone lineup, which contributed more than half of GenAI sales in Q4 2024.
The expansion of the GenAI smartphone market was also reflected in the number of GenAI-capable models, which increased from 82 in Q3 2024 to 123 in Q4 2024.
