In contrast to the slowdown in VR, the global AR smart glasses market recorded 167% YoY growth in Q3 2025. Key contributors to the strong growth included Rokid Glasses, Meta Ray-Ban Display, Xreal One Pro and the VITURE Luma series glasses. The rapid increase in demand for “AR+AI” smart glasses drove the share of MicroLED displays in global AR shipments to 25% in Q3 2025. Meanwhile, the adoption share of LCOS display grew to 2% in Q3.
