Shaochen Wang is a Research Analyst at Counterpoint Research, based in Beijing, China. At Counterpoint, he closely monitors the automotive and intelligent robotics industries, with a particular focus on pivotal technologies—including Autonomous Vehicles, Humanoid Robots, and Artificial Intelligence—that underpin generalized autonomy. He began his career at Lenovo Group in the Corporate Strategy division. Prior to joining Counterpoint Research, his most recent role was as a Consultant at EY China. He holds a MSc in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Soumen Mandal

Soumen is a Senior Analyst tracking IoT, Automotive and Telecommunication ecosystem at Counterpoint Research. He is interested in IoT applications, connections, components, electric vehicles, connected cars, autonomous vehicles, semiconductors, shared mobility, services and emerging technologies. He started his career as an Energy Analyst with Manikaran Power Ltd. He has experience working with DISCOMs and SLDCs in the Indian power and energy industry. He is currently based in Gurgaon. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree and an MBA in Marketing & Finance.

Abhik Mukherjee

Abhik Mukherjee is an automotive market analyst and consultant, specializing in the evaluation and assessment of leading automakers’ performance, financial metrics, and strategic approaches. Leveraging his extensive expertise in automotive trend analysis, he delivers in-depth insights, strategic analysis and industry forecasts. Before joining Counterpoint, Abhik served as an academic research analyst and holds both an M.Phil and a Master’s degree in Economics.
